US-based Asian entertainment group Right Stuf Inc has struck a deal to handle seven titles from South Korea's CJ Entertainment Inc CJ엔터테인먼트 in North American home entertainment markets.
Titles include Bleak Night 파수꾼 (2010), Finding Mr Destiny 김종욱 찾기 (2010), Moss 이끼 (2010), Penny Pinchers 티끌모아 로맨스 (2011) (pictured), Punch 완득이 (2011), The Suicide Forecast 수상한 고객들 (2011) and Tazza: The High Rollers 타짜 (2006).
The films will be handled by 5 Points Pictures, a new subsidiary of Right Stuf specialising in live action content. The company says it will upgrade the English translations and add video extra material taken from the previous South Korean releases.
"Right Stuf and its new 5 Points Pictures [will] get more of our latest films into the hands of our fans," said Joon CHOI 최준환, CEO of CJ Entertainment America.
Right Stuf also controls Nozomi Entertainment, a specialist anime distribution label.
