Asian trio to judge Locarno

Two additional Asian directors will join the previously announced Apichatpong "Joe" WEERASETHAKUL อภิชาติพงศ์ วีระเศรษฐกุล on juries at the 65th Locarno Film Festival | Festival del film Locarno (1-11 Aug).
South Korea's IM Sang-soo 임상수 | 林常樹 will join Thailand's Weerasethakul on the international competition jury.
Malaysia's HO Yu Hang 何宇恆 will be part of the Filmmakers of the Present jury. Ho's At the End of Daybreak 心魔 (2009) competed in the main competition three years ago.
It was also announced that Tokyo-based film programmer Abi Sakamoto and New York-based critic Dennis Lim, recently appointed artistic director of November's International Film Festival Malaysia, will serve on the jury selecting the best film from across the festival's sections.
