Chen Zhen is hit with buyers

Hong Kong studio Media Asia Group Holdings Ltd 寰亞傳媒集團有限公司 had a buoyant Marché du Film, striking significant deals for its slate of upcoming films.
Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen 精武風雲 陳真 (2010) was licensed to Well Go USA Inc for North America, to Splendid Film for Germany and Benelux, United King for Israel, to Horizon Film Int'l for Turkey and to Galaxy Studio for Vietnam.
(The film was previously licensed to TF1 International for France and to Metrodome Distribution in the UK, with other deals in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and China also in the bag.)
Chen Zhen stars Donnie YEN 甄子丹, currently the hottest star in Asia after his return to form in Ip Man 葉問 (2008) and Ip Man 2 葉問2 (2010). Media Asia screened 11 minutes of action footage at its offices in Cannes. Confirmed China release is now set as 23 Sept.
The company's two Thai pickups 9 Temples 9 วัด (2010) and My Best Bodyguard มาย เบสท์ บอดี้การ์ด (2010) were licensed to He Production for Singapore and to RAM Entertainment Sdn Bhd for Malaysia and Indonesia.
Its Life Without Principle 奪命金 (2011), Punished 報應 (2011), A Beautiful Life 不再讓你孤單 (2011) and Don't Go Breaking My Heart 單身男女 (2010) were all licensed to Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd for Malaysian release, with United King Films also taking Punished for Israel.
