CJ strikes Netflix deal

Korean movies will be made available to US home entertainment audiences following a deal between CJ E&M Corp and Netflix.
CJ is initially licensing a package of 20 titles that includes Moss 이끼 (2010), Silmido 실미도 (2003), The Servant 牆內牆外 (1979), I'm a Cyborg But That's Okay 싸이보그지만 괜찮아 (2006) and, one of several Japanese-language titles, Killer Bride's Perfect Crime キラー・ヴァージンロード (2009) (pictured). They will be available on TVs, tablets, gaming consoles, computers and mobile phones.
"Netflix has been a revolutionary force in entertainment. This deal brings movie lovers iconic films from Asia's top entertainment company," said Choi Joon, CEO of CJ E&M America in a prepared statement.
"This is part of our ongoing commitment to expand our members' access to exceptional and high-quality content from around the globe," said Lisa Nishimura, VP, independent content acquisition for Netflix.
Other titles include: Arahan: Urban Martial Arts Action 아라한 (2004); Fish Story フィッシュストーリー (2009); Castaway on the Moon 김씨표류기 (2008); Going by the Book 바르게 살자 (2007); Good Morning President 굿모닝 프레지던트 (2009); Harmony 하모니 (2010); King and the Clown 왕의 남자 (2005); Love, In Between 두 여자 (2010); Murder, Take One 박수칠 때 떠나라 (2005); No Mercy 용서는 없다 (2010); Rikidozan: A Hero Extraordinary 역도산 (2004); Sayonara Itsuka サヨナライツカ (2009); Secret 시크릿 (2009); The Unjust 부당거래 (2010); and the Chinese-language Sophie's Revenge 非常完美 (2009).
