Easternlight Films, the Asia-focused label of Arclight Films Pty Ltd, has picked up world sales of 3-D animation sequel Legend of a Rabbit: The Martial of Fire 兔俠之青黎傳說 from China's Tianjin North Film Group 天津北方電影集團公司.

The original Legend of a Rabbit 兔俠傳奇 (2011), which is also in 3-D, made RMB16.6 million (US$2.65 million) in China and also opened theatrically in Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Russia and Portugal.

The new film was one of several Chinese-language titles to have high-profile launches during the Cannes market in the past week. The film has one more market screening today at 2pm in Palais K, in its "Cannes Cut".
