South Korean sales company Finecut Co Ltd 화인컷 has released the first images from In Another Country 다른 나라에서, the new HONG Sang-soo 홍상수 | 洪常秀 film that it is representing.
The film is the South Korean debut of leading French actress Isabelle HUPPERT. She plays three characters each with the same name who each visit the same seaside town and meet the same local residents. The rest of the cast, including YU Jun-sang 유준상 | 劉俊相 (pictured), are South Korean, but much of the dialogue is in English.
Another Country shot in summer 2011 and is currently in post-production. Finecut will screen a show reel at next week's European Film Market in Berlin. It expects to have the completed film ready by May, in time for the Cannes Film Festival, where two of Hong's last three films have played.
