IM Global takes Game into new league

13 Beloved 13 เกมสยอง (2006) (aka 13: Game of Death), the Thai dark thriller about the media industry, is to be remade in English.
The film is set up through IM Global, the Los Angeles-based sales and finance company that is owned by India's Reliance ADA Group.
The 2006 original story told of a vulnerable man who joined a mysterious game show and was manipulated into ever more desperate acts. It was directed by Chookiat "Matthew" SAKVEERAKUL ชูเกียรติ ศักดิ์วีระกุล and produced by Baa-Ram-Ewe Co Ltd บาแรมยู โปรดักชั่น with Sahamongkolfilm International Co Ltd สหมงคลฟิล์ม อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล financing and handling international sales.
The company has set The Last Exorcism (2010) director Daniel STAMM to head the new project and develop the screenplay with David Birke.
IM Global head Stuart FORD and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones of Automatik, IM Global's production joint venture with Alliance Films, will produce alongside Kiki Miyake of Little Magic.
Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious (2010)) and Somsak TECHARATANAPRASERT สมศักดิ์ เตชะรัตนประเสริฐ of Sahamongkolfilm will receive executive producer credits.
