Hong Kong based director Stanley KWAN 關錦鵬 and India's Nina LATH GUPTA will join the five person jury for the Luigi De Laurentiis award at the upcoming Venice International Film Festival.
The jury is headed by Germany's Fatih Akin and also includes Israel's Samuel Moaz and Italy's Jasmine Trinca.
Lath Gupta is managing director of the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and as such is currently overseeing a major film restoration programme. Her organisation also runs the annual Film Bazaar market at Goa.
Kwan most recently directed the Shanghai-set youth film Showtime 用心跳 (2010).
