The Pusan Festival (7-15 Oct) has selected 24 student film-makers to join the sixth running of its Asian Film Academy (Sept 30-Oct 16).
AFA participants selected from around Asia will receive the tuition, airfare, and accommodations to assist them in the acquisition of further skills. The programme will include short-film production, workshops, master classes, and mentoring.
The AFA received 158 applications and eventually selected its final 24 from 16 countries. Participants include Indonesia's Tumpal Christian Tampubolon who was selected after applying for the third time, and Rohit Sawakhande from India, who participated last year in the festival's Wide Angle section with short film Shorty.
