Sen heads down Mystery Road

Production has begun in Queensland, Australia on Mystery Road, the new film by Ivan SEN (pictured), the director of Toomelah (2011).
The story focuses on a detective, played by Aaron PEDERSEN, who returns to an Outback town to solve the murder of an indigenous girl. Sen also wrote the screenplay, is cinematographer and will edit the film.
The starry cast also includes Hugo WEAVING, Jack THOMPSON, Ryan KWANTEN, Tony BARRY, Tasma Walton, Damian Walshe-Howling, David Field, Robert Mammone and newcomers Trisha Whitton and Siobhan Binge.
Mystery Road is produced by David JOWSEY with Michael WRENN, formerly of Curious Films, as executive producer. Arclight Films Pty Ltd, Wrenn's new employer, will handle international sales.
Production finance includes money from Screen Australia, Screen Queensland and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
