Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 龍門飛甲 was today added to the competition section of next month's Berlin International Film Festival (9-19 Feb 2012).
Confusingly, however, it will play out of competition as it has been widely released already in Asia. The Flowers of War 金陵十三釵 is also screening out of competition.
The 3-D Flying Swords, directed by TSUI Hark 徐克, stars Jet LI 李連杰 and ZHOU Xun 周迅 in a hunt for a missing concubine that turns into a game of cat and mouse and sees the infamous Dragon Inn again a stage for fortune, romance and vengeance.
